Our Fishmonger offers a seasonal selection of fish and shellfish which arrives early each morning straight from the boats that supply our restaurant.

More Than A Fishmonger

Available to buy whole, or filleted and prepared by our expert team, expect a counter brimming with a selection of Scrabster Monkfish, Peterhead Halibut and Cod, Cape Wrath Oysters and more.

Shop in store, click and collect, or order by phone for collection on Saturdays in Braemar.

Alongside the fresh fish counter, we also sell a range of seaweeds, seasonal vegetables, preserved seafood, Scottish Blackthorn Seasalt, and other store cupboard essentials. To accompany the ingredients to a brilliant fish supper, discover our selection of wines to pair perfectly.

Every Saturday at 1pm, our Fishmonger van will be stationed outside St Margaret’s in Braemar for customer collection.

Local Delivery

Every Saturday our van makes its way to Braemar, bringing the ocean’s bounty with it, ready to be collected. Order in advance and pick up at 1pm, where we will be parked outside of St. Margaret’s.

Sustainability

Working with carefully selected fishermen, partners, growers and makers, we supply sustainably-sourced fish from day and short-trip boats, as well as creel-caught and hand-dived crustacea.

Fish Shop Restaurant and Fishmongers are committed to being low-waste from fit-out to packaging; even smoking techniques use zero-emission charcoal.
